Fundraising

As a free medical clinic, we do not receive reimbursements from private insurances, Medicare, or Medicaid, nor federal or local government funding. With the current state of the economy, many individuals were losing their jobs, and consequently their access to healthcare. Over the course of one year our patient volume increased by 60% while funding significantly declined. For years the Annual Golf Tournament was the Clinic's only fundraiser. With each year, the tournament was more successful than the previous, but it just wasn't enough to accommodate the demand. To make up for this difference MFMC began hosting the Hearts & Hands Together Benefit (a dinner and live auction) in the Fall of 2009. We are very fortunate to have so many dedicated individual and business contributors.

Our annual golf tournament has great prizes, food, fun contests, and competitive golf. There are many opportunities for corporate and individual sponsorships available. The money raised from the tournament directly funds the clinic, so come show your support with a fun day of golf at Raintree Country Club!

The 3rd Annual Hearts & Hands Together Benefit

MFMC hosted its second annual Hearts & Hands Together Dinner Auction on Saturday, November 5th. The event was a huge success, raising close to $30,000 for the Clinic! The event drew more than 100 people together at Maggiano's Little Italy in South Park.
