Welcome to Matthews Free Medical Clinic

Matthews Free Medical Clinic is a free medical clinic that provides quality healthcare to low income, uninsured patients of Matthews, NC, and surrounding areas, including Mecklenburg and Union Counties.

Staffed by volunteer physicians and nurses, a paid nurse manager, a paid part-time clinic director, and lay people, the clinic provides well patient care, treatment of chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, and gynecological exams. It is a nonprofit organization funded by grants, private donations, and an annual golf tournament.
